Workforce & shift planning

MODEL / BASISΣ net person-hours

Man-Hours

Shifts, overtime, breaks and absence hours.

Use a decimal point or comma; no thousands separators.

Calculation inputs

Shift / subcontractor 1

Result

Complete all fields with valid finite values and the specified units; denominators/durations must be positive. Cases/workers must be whole numbers.

Review the methodology and limits below before interpreting this result.

Example: 10 × 5 × (8 + 1 − 0.5) − 5 = 420 hours. Invalid: breaks/absence exceed work hours → no result.

Methodology & limits

Σ [people × days × (shift + overtime − breaks) − total absence hours]

Overtime and breaks are hours per person per day; absence is total person-hours for the entire row (not multiplied again). Net hours exclude breaks/absence. Use separate, non-overlapping rows for shifts/subcontractors. Estimates are never automatically written as actual hours for incident rates.

Calculated at full precision; display rounded to two decimal places only.
